Removing multiple identical demigods from a single team

too often this is used for somewhat...cheap purposes

I really think that it should be possible to (probably under game options) select so that multiple identical demigods (two regulus, two erebus, two UB, two whatever) cannot be on the same team. Too often this is used for...what I feel are pretty cheap purposes. If the map is well exploited by such an such, two of them on one team isn't uncommon. That is not to say that this kind of thing cannot be balanced, both teams may undertake it, and make for a balanced game. But the other options are, play a game that's essentially stacked, or kick people (if you're the host) both of which options sort of suck.

I see your point, but how would you ever do 5v5 until the new demigods are put in?

 

I faced  3 regulus' once in a 3v3 match, and it was pure ownage with coordination, while probably not impossible to counter, you'd have to do it with the right setup, they waited until we all selected ready then quickly swapped to reggy's. I didn't complain or anything, just tried to adapt to it and we made a stand, but eventually lost.

I mean on one team, you could have dupes on the opposing team.

Either I was in that same game...or it is a common thing.  It wouldn't have been so cheezy if they had been honest up front that they were a team (the 3 of us were just a pug) and that they planned on going 3x Reg.  Instead they did the sleezy last-second switch then launch to make sure we couldn't plan a counter with our DG choices.  I think our team had a Rook (me), a Regulus and I forget the 3rd.  We gave it a go even though we knew from the start we were screwed.

I agree some Demigods when stacked multiple times on one team are pure cheese, but untill we get at least 2 more demigods on each side, limiting a DG to one per team is counter-productive.

Therefore what needs to happen is GPG needs to add four of my suggested demigods and then implement this.
