This is my very first demigod idea, so bear with me and tell me what you think.
Name: King Roland
Alignment: Light
Story: Not creative enough to think up of one yet, but probably something along the lines of defending his kingdom and such. He would be completely in heavy armor with an iron crown, mounted on a horse, with a mace in one hand and shield in the other.
Type: General
Low Attack Speed, Low Damage (About 150 weapon damage)
High Armor, High movement speed (+5% speed, he's on a horse after all)
Abilities: (Note the following abilities take up idol slots, the king won't be able to purchase idols)
Summon Archers: Summons two archers to the king's side.
Archer stats: (for a single unit only) 20 weapon damage per archer. Archers can be upgraded 4 seperate times. The first 3 ranks, the archers will only be affected by number. Rank 2 is 5 archers, rank 3 is 8. Last upgrade gives archers fire arrows, that increase weapon damage by 10.
Summon swordsmen: Summons 2 swordsmen to the king's side.
Exact same stats as archers, except they have 25 weapon damage per swordsman and their last ability lets them do AOE attacks, similar to yetis.
Summon horsemen:
Horsemen have the same stats as swordsmen, but 10% more speed than most minions.
Rank 1: Summons 2 horsemen Rank 2: Summons 4. Rank 3: Summons 6. Last rank gives them a glorious charge ability, preventing them from dying after health is depleated for 10 seconds.
If the King buys these powers via skillpoints, they will show up where idols normally would.
King's other abilities: (Show's up where they normally would)
Volley: The king orders all of his archers to volley a certain area of the map, dealing 100 weapon damage per archer unit on the field. 3 Ranks starting at level 4, damage increased by an extra 100 damage per archer per rank.
Berserker Rage: Makes swordsmen go into a berserker rage, increasing damage and attack speed by two times the amount for 20 seconds. 3 ranks, starting at level 4, eventually giving swordsmen 6 times the damage and attack speed.
Trample: Makes horsemen do trample damage for 10 seconds, dealing 100 damage per horsemen per trample round, increases to 300 damage at rank 3.
So the king would be mana dependant, and with no other abilities very squishy. However, he would be one of the best pushers in the game with the biggest array of summoned units in the game. He would rely on units more than any other demigod.
