Friend and I picked up the game over the weekend and have been messing around just learning the basics. We play DotA as well so it is really just a matter of learning the Demigods and item combinations. We have found that the computer up to Hard is just pathetic at best and weak as hell. So twice we have played on Nightmare and twice we have had unexplainably retarded shit happen.

First game the comp had Regulus and just completely stomped us. From the start we lost the opening skirmish killing Queen of Thorns then both dying to Regulus. When we got back Regulus was just an unstoppable killing machine. We couldn't do damage to him, he was just regening like a beast. It would get to a point that he would eventually start taking damage, after like a minute of kicking our asses, then he would port back and we would do the dance all over again.

So the second game we were playing as Unclean Beast and Torch Bearer against Rook and Erebus. We dominated the game for about 15 minutes. I believe I was 9-0 and Torch was 7-1. We pretty much thought that we couldn't lose at that point as we were working on the 2nd set of towers on Crucible. Then Rook came out of no where with 6k health, took absolutely no damage from anything and was killing me from half health with an ability he had previously never used (the hammer smash thing). I couldn't tell exactly how much damage it was doing as it seemed to be popping up 2 numbers at once but I believe it was around 2k. I can't even explain what happened. I died twice fighting him and Torch pulled him back INTO OUR BASE. Rook was walking around inside the 3rd and final tower farm and he was taking no damage whatsoever. With both of us beating on him, and entire unit waves, and the towers and we couldn't dent him. Game said he had 6k health and he was regening about 100-200 health a second.

I just want to know if this is a bug or something. It is completely ridiculous. I don't understand how we could go from destroying the enemy to having him waltz into our base (when he is 2-10) and kick our asses up and down IN OUR BASE. Any thoughts on this? It makes no sense and because I can't see the enemy items or anything I really have no idea what was going on and it is frustrating to all hell.
