What is the big deal with ragequitters? Srsly...

First...I'll put this out and say, I am not a rage quitter...never have, never will. If I'm handed my backside in a game, I will stay and tough it out, and let the opposing team enjoy their well deserved victory.

That aside, my question. What is the problem about them? Sure, if you are on the team of a quitter, it sux...but again, tough it out. But...does it do anything to the OTHER team? Does the win still count as a win since u had an unfair advantage? Do you not get xp/favor points? Do you get a loss in the Pantheon? Just curious, yeah it sux to be on either side of the equasion...but if there is no real setback (except sittin still bored for 30 long seconds), why even complain?

Another problem with players quitting is that other players may get dropped in the process. This has happened to me a LOT lately and it pisses me off. The other side is losing (or my side is) one player decides to quit, and I get dropped with him.

Please consider this before you quit.

As the person that started this thread... I now have to say...

I hate ragers... Just did a pantheon game, 2v2. Initially, it says a player has left. I notice it was actually 2 ppl, one on my team, one on the other. Well, me and the guy decided to tough it out. I kinda rolled him, and he quits saying, "My AI sucks, I'm out!" ... Now, my favor points won't count since everyone in the game quit...including host since I know it wasn't me.

I say we tar n feather them all!

The problem with this game is that it's usually clear cut who is going to win early on with little way to change it. That is why people quit, because late game turnarounds are non-existant. But zomg, that 10 favor you get just for staying makes it all worth it!

Here lies the root of the issue.

I was so tempted to quit a game last night after 5 mins when in a 4v4, 2 of my team mates ran into 3 dgs seperatley and got murdered. Then they ask 'why didn't you help'. I was on the other side of the map capping. They did this again...

Need less to say the end kills were 7 me 1 other guys and 0 0 for the 2 guys who got killed at the start.

We stayed and fought and even have a much better cappign game than the other team but in the end they were all +4 levels on us and had that extra 15000 GP from the 10 kills they were up on us. We didn't stand a chance.

A lil bit off topic, but I personally think an integrated VOIP system in the game would make things so much smoother here. Could reduce the numbers or ragers that quit because they don't like how their team is playing, strats and plans can be put together and executed from the start, without having to waste time typing. Hell, it works in L4D when you are infected pwnin up the survivors...omg, that's epic win there. ..and that game would suck without VOIP.

Just my 2 cents...again.
