I just had a super epic match. For some reason it didn't get recorded, but I had so muich fun I had to describe it for all to read (feel free to reply with your epic matches too!)

It was a pantheon match, I was Regulus and my ally was Rook (except he DROPPED during the game loading so I had a cmputer player, aggg!), we were facing a Lord Erberus and Queen of Thorns, deadly team. The map was crucible.

Early game, their deadlyness shown through, within about 8 minutes, they were ahead in levels and had taken all the flags. My rook ally had died a couple of times (and when I say a couple, I mean like 6-10, I didn't really care by then).

The Dark team tore through my defenses dispite the upgrades I had purcahsed, and I was forced into hull hp regen gear just to stay on the battlefield long enough to kill a couple creeps (I had blood of the fallen, Banded Armor, Hauberk of Life, couldn't afford Platemail of Crusader Yet, and I had a Vlemish Faceguard to keep the mana flowing)

Pretty soon (around evel 10) they had pushed us back to our final 4 towers and had killed two of them, it was nearly impossible to kill the Dark Forces with a npc Rook! The dark team also had Demons and priests while we had just standard creeps, harsh.

Around when two of the final 4 light towers fell, I see the disconnect menu, the dark forces Lord Erberus was lagging out. 30 seconds later, an AI took over for him, I think to myself, I have a chance, dispite have not killed a SINGLE of their buildings, and the dark forces already having full war rank and us only able to buy prists and angels, I had a chance.

I purchased angels and priests and started the push, however the npc lord Erb has good gear for killing my rook npc all game long, it was still near impossible to kill him. It took both me and the rook to kinda push him back. The game went on and after buying cats (the oterh team had purcahsed them right before I did) we were able to to atleast keep them out of our base. I ahd to pretty much constantly mine up the battle field, but we kept them out.

I had also accumulated some money by then so I was able to purcahse a Girdle of Giants, giving me the hp I needed to stay in combat and the cleave I needed to focus on their heros yet be able to kill their creeps, combined with angelic fury, it was pretty cool. Unfortunatly, the Dark team had puchased a finger of god, which laid waste to our cats

From then on, I just tried to damage the npc Erb enough to make him run, then try to kill the QoT (which was still a player mind you). The turning point came when I had saved up enough money for ashnakor (that thing is sooo godly). When I got that, me and the rook had a chance to kill the npc erb, whish was still insanly durable, but once we started killing erb, the poor QoTs had really no chance.

With ashnakor in my hands, we started taking flags and killing towers, forts, nothing tood in our way. Soon I had money for a Orb of vieled storms (my rook ally also visited the artifact shop a couple times, he got damn fast attack speed near the end of the game). After pushing all the way to their base, I had also accumulated Cloak of Flames and All Father's Ring, nothing could stop me, I felt like a guy who brought a tank to a gun fight, lol.

In the end, we won. All the players in the amtch were really nice, we never badmouthed each other and had a good time overall. In the end the amtch wasn't even recorded, so whatever, lol.
