Can't connect to friends in demigod

Whenever we join the same game we cant establish a connection to eachother and we see eachother having 0 ms. How do you fix?Its extremely irritating and stupid, I wouldn't of spent 40 bucks if I knew this shit was gonna happen.

Have you both forwarded your ports?  Alternativley, you could use the proxies.

I'm not sure how to forward ports on my DI-LINK 604.  Which proxies?

This link leads to a thread with a good tutorial on using the proxies. 

The nice thing about using proxies is that no port forwarding is required.  The only downside is that if you live in a location far from any of these servers, you will be increasing your latency by a fair amount.

Well I've done the proxy thing where I add it into the shortcut icon but I'm still getting ton of NAT errors and I'm still not connecting to some people...

Also.. now when I try to host a game I click "host" and my game just freezes and does nothing, this also JUST STARTED HAPPENING. Why is this happening...?
