Regulus already does low damage early on. Plus, he has a glass jaw. Get close to him and he is dead.

I play regulus often.  The best counter to mines/snipe is a high max hp.  Best counter to angelic fury build is armor items.

No. Regulus is extremely weak early game and late game. You need to revise your strategy. He is a glass cannon. If you want to talk about "cheap" characters, look at UB. But regardless, I think the game is now fairly balanced aside from Erebus, who's nerfed seems to have really helped the flow of the game.

I use to complain about Unclean Beast, but now that I have played as him, and revised my strategy, he is no longer usually a threat.

At first regulus seems to be a op demigod, but if you look into it, he is very fair. Regulus is possible the most worthless demigod early game. He is very weak and pretty much has difficulty holding a lane any demigod who actually tries to harass him.

and to the op, for someone who ahs played 80+ games, I am sure you realize msot demigods are powerful when they are fed.

Not saying he's OP, but when combined with heaven's wrath he does not need to hold a lane.  He can easily farm using heaven's wrath while capping unprotected flags and sniping other DG who are battling his pals.

I'm not sure he is unfair in the damage he does, however the mines can be difficult to counter. Two thoughts on this

Mines should be dangerous to both sides - the allies should be able to see them but if they walk over them BOOM

secondly Regulus should only be able to lay them where he is. I kept having the things thrown behind me in one game - maybe my tactic should have been to go for the kill - however against 2 it effectively cuts off your escape.

regulus is fine as he is except for one thing.

his mines do a huge amount of damage..well that's fine as long as they're being used like mines. but in fact people always throw mines at their enemy to do huge burst damage. why are they called mines if that is possible? i think they should stay as they are but at least should take an additional second or so before they can be triggered after thrown...

any thoughts?

I see that Sedna's pounce is supposed to be an interrupt! But I really dont see how it can be used as such when hero skills happen so quickly. Unclean Beast's grip occurs almost instantly and so does Erebus' bite. However, Rook's hammer and Regulus' mine laying do take enough time to interrupt.

I think that the reason we see so many Regulus players is because he has skills which can be abused. I honestly did not expect such a backlash of hate and rage against my post! I'm just voicing my opinion and in hopes of improving the game!!

Again I think Regulus should be harder to use and that his mine, auto attack and snipe abilities should deal slightly less damage. It will require more finess on the part of the user.

regulus lacks defensive moves, he has below average health and armor gains per level, his unmodified auto-attacks deal significantly less damage than the other Assassins. he has no interrupts. his abilities have high mana costs. he has the least amount of group support abilities in the game (in terms of buffs and debuffs). 

this is a very long list of weaknesses for such an "overpowered" demigod. 

My friend plays Reg all the time; on my team too, so I'm not biased in saying I really think the "range" of mines, and the way they work are kind'a op a bit; or more'so there don't really fit with the weapon concept at all.  My friend just throws them at the feet of whomever he's fighting, and, BOOM!  And if there are any other minions/DGs fighting (and there usually are) good luck seeing him casting mines, let alone the mines themsevels. They are more like nitroglycerin than mines.
