How does +hp/+dam for minions work??

Been trying to figure out which units actually recieve these buffs. If anyone has tested plz help.

Its a little bit confusing as to what actually counts as a minion and therefore recieves these buffs.

Which of the following recieves these buffs:

1. Your Idol based sommoned units, ie. Bishops.

2. Your Ability based summoned units, ie. Oak's spirits.

3. Computer controlled units that spawn from portals.

4. Your team mates summoned units.

In addition if the answer to 3 and 4 is both no then am I correct in assuming that there is no benifit to an assasin taking items with +minion benefits?

Ty in advance for any help. Lack of info on this game is kinda annoying.

Assasins get nothing from items with +minion benifits, although many have other effects. The Gloves of Fell-Darkur give +30 weapon damage in addition to the minion benefits.

The creeps that spawn from portals can only be upgraded at the citadels or with certain flag bonuses. Items that give minion damage have no effect on them. Only your idol and ability summoned units get these benefits.

Finally, there are ways to increase your minion's stats without items. Upgrading the morale skill, which all generals posess, will also increase their stats.

Ty for the help that was as i expected. Kinda annoying that assassins get no benifit from those items at all but i guess you dont have to buy them.
