good strategy in my opinion. they were running a classic ganking team, i've seen that exact setup used by ALOT of the better teams i've played against. its a burst damage oriented DG killing squad. i've seen it used to great effect by Stil Rey's team and by KoreaSlayer's team. i'm sure plenty of others use it as well. 

they probably chose to focus on you in particular because Oak is known to be weakest in the early game but can be hard to handle at later levels. they decided it was a good strategy to try and stunt your growth by singling you out. apparently it worked. 

 Some people just think that you should play their way or not at all. I have been trying out a Vamp Minion build, that has been working really well, that does not allow for much pushing or fighting other Demigods early on. During one game I was holding the flag farming creeps and one of my teamates starts giving me grief for not attacking the towers and running from other Demigods.

 Since I wasnt playing an Assassin Build like he was, he was Oak, I was a bad player and worse then an AI. In the end we won the game and I even had the highest rank.

 Just ignor the jerks and try and have fun.

 I also hate it when all three team up on me. Last game I had all three team kill me and take out our tower. This was about 5 mins in the game. Decided I wasn't having fun and quite. I play to have fun, not HC.

you probably already know this but shield is very good for stopping ganks, also be careful of pounce or deep freeze as they are interrupts.

Ha but yeah this strat works very well against players with low health, meaning not getting blood of the fallen at the begining. Shield should prevent you from dieing a few times but it has to be used at the perfect time.

Easy, just run, the moment you see for than one, run the freaken hills, lol. You may not see it as your fault, but anyone who tried to fight 2v1 or 3v1 needs to wake up and know you aren't gonna win.

Do you expect us to hold your hand, pat you on the back and tell you "it is ok Billy, it is not your fault, those other kids are just being mean. I didn't fight and the second I saw one I tried to book it out but then the TB, who was ice, slowed me, the Sedna wand of speeded to me, and reg snipe, well that needs to explanation.

ok, if that was the situation, you need to super stack hp items.

Favor Item: Blood of Fallen +800hp

Banded Armor: +400hp

Unbreakable boots: +600 hp

For about 2050 gold you just gained 1800hp, enough to soak up a low level snipe + fireball + pounce

Anyway, the towers on prison are spaced far apart. Depending on where you are it can be too late to run. Especially when there are 3 DG pounding on you.

Secondly, how is he supposed to raise 2050 gold when he continously runs away? Even if he did 1800 HP isn't going to help when three DG are attacking at once, especially since they're not going to be at a low level by the time he can afford this set up.

Finally, his allies can't protect him forever. If they do then they'll become under-leveled.

you make it sound so hard. you see both of them before they can do anything. we're talking about early game here? permafrost lvl1 just slows for 3%, that's not a big deal. also he has to get near you.

and for regulus...well just fucking run away, he won't be able to shoot if he's not in range...and we're still talking about early game here. he will only have lvl 1 range. and even if he gets in range, maim lvl 1 will slow for just 5%. so there will be 8% max until lvl 5...wand of speed negates and still improves.

so if you don't let them get near you, there might be sedna cause she is faster, but she won't be able to kill you alone if you run instantly.

until they're lvl 5 you should notice they are focusing on you, so stack on speed and hp (and skill shield).

they won't continue ganging on you if you proceed like i already posted or they will be wasting time while your enemies will level up, capture the flags -> especially gold flag <- and buy currency, which your team will get earlier as your war rank will be higher, so there shouldn't be a problem with gold neither!

so...yes it's your fault, you're not innocent, but it's your team's fault too, because they didn't help. at the end of the day, you were the worse team

I'm refuting them because these suggestions won't help very much. I'm not defending the OP for the hell of it. Just plain running isn't the way to go, because then they've achieved their main goal: stopping him from getting a good mid-game build. An Oak can be a real threat mid-game if he can get off the ground. If you're constantly running you'll never get air-borne.

I already suggested that he should have stuck with his teammates instead of relying on them to come save him. You can't expect them to be able to save him everytime, they might be low on health themselves, or they might not make it in time. By sticking together everyone gets a chance to level and the enemy will think twice about attacking an Oak, UB, and Erebus at the same time.

I'm not saying that it's not his fault, because it kind of is. His team lacked teamwork. But you can't expect him to know from the start of the match that the enemy is going to gang up on him. It seems like he got killed early and fell behind because he was preparing for a 1v1, not a 3v1.

Ever heard of something called snipe? That at level one will do 400 damage from across a map, and by the time things started to become really bad they were level four, so the 3% is higher. Also the Sedna had wand of speed and pounce rank2, all that on one guy hurts like hell real quick.

Also I did stick with my team-mates on the far-left flag (opposite the artifact place) but they couldn't do much as when they came over they could barely hurt the Sedna (easiest one to get) in the time it took to hurt me enough and when i suggested TB he just ran. If i had sticked in the middle the Reg coulda auto-attacked me so that would of been a bad choice.

I've had similar experience on prison. If the enemy team focuses too much on demigod killing, you can just avoid them and focus on flags and creeps. You will be upgrading earlier, especially since they will be pouring their money into items.

In one game, we were like 4-5 levels down each, and yet we got to warscore 10 with a 2 level lead on them, because they kept ignoring the flags. they were really badass mofos at that time, but once we got WS10, two of us spent all the money we saved to grab giants + creep upgrades and visited their side with a few lock scrolls in our purse.

Game was over before they knew it. We were inferior in items and levels, hell.. the K:D ratios were horrible and yet we won the day. In fact, a similar tactic works nicely on all the maps. Despite what some of the killwhore UB players out there are saying, conquest mode is about flags and creeps and not about demigod kills.
