simspeed online vs offline

why is this so different? i can play 5v5 versus ai in tournament and keep ~5 simspeed through out a match, but online and it drops to 0/-1. didn't see this explained in the few random posts i read

hmm proberly has something to do with the conections to others peoples computers and the relaying off the data  aand that it takes  alot of your comps processing power to do it

were as when your fighting comps it doesn't have to relay any infomation to other computers

What kind of connection speed do you have?  It seems like uploads are more important on this game then in others...

Sim speed in multiplayer only goes as fast as the player with the slowest machine.

In single player you are simply running the game.  Online you are running the game and also doing all the connectivity work (sync and data transfer) as well.  Obviously that's more processor intensive.

Online Multiplayer requires more processor power than offline.

It's the same for all games, it's just that Demigod clearly shows it to you as SimSpeed, something the other games keep hidden.

Hi  , PLEASE HELP ME

I feel really fooled buying this game, my simspeed starts with +2 and within a minute it is lower than -2
My Video Card settings are set to the lowest

On the back of the game it says  that you need
Processor: 2,4GHz
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Hard drive: 8 GB
Video Card: 128 MB 3D

I have
Processor: dual core 2,2GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM 800MHz
Hard Drive: 200 GB
Video Card: Club3D Radeon HD 3650 1024MB GDDR2 

Could someone please tell me whats wrong, please dont speculate, please only say what you know

Your dual core is a bit slow.  If you stick to 3v3 you should be fine though.

Have you tried turning the sound settings to low, and turning off reverb? That really helped me!
