[no text] then crash during map load

Since this morning demigod now crashes 100% of the time upon loading a game, single or multiplayer. The only difference I noticed was during the load screen it shows [no text], literally brackets saying no text, in the center of the screen, right below your colored emblem. Just did a reinstall via impulse, same issue. I want to scream right now .

If you're getting [no text] on lobby or load screens, try deleting your Game.prefs file from My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod.

Don't you lose your favor points/items when you delete the prefs file?

For single player, yes, but not for multiplayer.

Correct.  If you want to you can go back in and give yourself the favor points you used to have by editing the value in this file.  Or, if you're like me, give yourself 1,000,000 favor points for single player.  These do not affect Multiplayer favor points.
