Hi, Porkus. I'm one of your opponents that had sim speed 4-5 pretty much from the very beginning. Although you never asked during the match (you make it sound like you did), I'll have you know that I am from the US. I believe, however, that you are exaggerating how bad the lag situation was. While it is true that the match wasn't running at a frame rate that we all would have preferred due to the cross-continental connection, I think that your claim that it was "impossible to play" was only an excuse to abandon your ally and quit the match when you began to perceive yourself on the losing end of it. I bet that if you were comfortably winning, you would've been very much inclined to stay. Another possibility is that you just decided to quit when my ally and I, both Oaks, really began to outmatch you, an Unclean Beast, in head-on combat, knowing how you feel about Generals versus Assassins from the other thread.
Also, I hope that you don't always blame your own mistakes or slowness with using abilities that end up getting you killed on lag. I consider myself to be a pretty good Oak player, but even I can admit to occassionally winding up dead because I fumbled with popping the Shield or Cloak of Night.
