Game crash on loading screen

When I try to launch a game in single or multiplayer, during the flash screen demigod always crashes with an "unhandled exception" error. Also, in the area that is supposed to show the game type (conquest, fortress, etc.) the message is instead "[no text]"

The problem only started occurring after the 1.1 patch and now it happens 100% of the time.

Is this a problem anyone else is having or did i just find the rare "100% chance to crash" favor item?

If you're getting [no text] on lobby or load screens, try deleting your Game.prefs file from My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod.
