Player concedes and leaves game, gets win EVERYONE else loss

He concedes and leaves and the system decides the game has ended when he left. It continued for another 15 minutes and my side won, yet EVERYONE got the loss EXCEPT for the player that left. EDIT: just realized he also got 90 favor points?? And everyone else got zip.

Whoa boy. I can understand the connectivity issues, but I hope by the time the clan patch is done, the ranking system is fixed. Love the game, but I feel like you guys are killing your own game.

ps. I know casual gamers won't care, but the hardcore multiplayer guys/gals that keep multiplayer games alive, ala counterstrike and the original starcraft, DO care about such things. And we haven't begun to talk about a matchmaking service.

Agreed. The only host disconnect exploit I know of causes the host to get a win and all others to get a loss. Host gets favor, all others get none. When a host concedes, they stay in the game until others concede. The host could concede and then quit before anyone else did. This results in host disconnect exploit. Review the person who did this's stats. It might not be intentional, but also could be.

From a quick 1 min look at his stats, this doesn't look like a person intentionally abusing the system, but instead someone who doesn't know that they'd be screwing the stats by dropping... so no flame required. Perhaps send him a PM and let him know conceding and then dropping as the host results in other's stats not saving.
