Good advice is to not play the game. As if certain builds are just down right cheap wasn't enough of a reason to not play, the dev teams lack of awareness of these problems most certainly is. This plus the elitist players of DG that only play in situations where they always win make the game literally unenjoyable.
You would think solutions to erubus teleporting on crucible would have been implemented. You would think erubus mist would be given a rework, or altered in someway to keep him from being super broken. The inability of assassins to deal damage to generals that take monks, and the poor scalling of creating damage with assassins vs the healing and survivability of generals. The games mechanics are very off, most of this is because the 'group' play is always of different sizes and character make ups. This always leads to messed up mechanics. In an MMORPG you could hope for things to eventually get better, but in DG these problems and cheese strategies will always exist.
As the above posters mentioned, don't play 1v1, or if you do use cheese tactics yourself. It turns out people don't play the game to have fun, they play it to WIN WIN WIN no matter how lame they do it.
