Dear Demigod fans, creators, programmers, idealists, rationalists, liberals, conservatives, and short people,

For the love of all that is holy -- and hell, for the love for all that is not -- please do something with the chat/friends interface within Demigod.  It is, as it stands, completely worthless.  Trying to have a group of friends play together is currently like trying to wrangle a pen of disgruntled badgers, or thread a needle with the leg of an angry spider.   It's clunky, it's unintuitive, it's tacked-on like a rock concert ticket to a college students corkboard. 

I'm not saying there aren't other fundamental flaws with Demigod that need addressing first(lack of choice, connection issues, the fact that there is an insuffient amount of wanking material while I am dead, etc) but seriously.  I know you guys are professional developers dealing with something that me, a mere player and necrophiliac, simply cannot understand the complexity of.   However, in the concept of building a community, an advancement in this area would be not only appreciated, but I will personally stand from the rooftops and scream your praises.  Hell, I'll make a video of me on a hot-air balloon with several beautiful women singing an a capella rendition of "You Are So Beautiful" if you could fit such a fix into your already crammed schedule.

These advancements, in my mind(which is pitiful and full of dirty thoughts), could consist of any of the following-

-More warnings in game of a message(You can say it exists, but it doesn't work.  If you say it works, you're a dirty liar who deserves nothing less but to be flogged by serial killers until you submit)

-Some sort of external communication system(yeah right.)

-Sounds(that can be turned off, because I don't like to be annoyed -all- the time.)

-Notifications.  This cannot be that hard.  I'll eat my own shoes if this is considered a difficult endevour. Spelling is for vaginas, btw.

Please.  I'm serious about the video.  I'll make it.  It can happen.  Okay, probably not.  However, I can post a video of me doing a silly dance with a broom.  If that is what you wish, please update the chat/messaging features within Demigod.  Even if it's not.  Whatever.  Please.  I love you.
