I can hardly consider this a big deal. It could use some work, but there are just more pressing bugs to be fixed/changes to be implemented at the moment

I tend to get teleport favor item when the game is spiriling down to the map then click on the item shop a couple of times before the camera stops moving.  the helps negate that 3-4 seconds.  then i port as close as possible to the experience or health flag.  Im usually close or on my second flag before the opposing team is on their first flag.

Well i do agree with op,

What you must not forget, that the flags start out as neutral, and it takes ALLOT less time to get the flag the first time.

That means that a fast Dg, Tb?, that starts at the primo spot and starts buying a scroll when the camara is still zoomed out can have up to 3-4 sec advantage on the guy on the worst spot, this means he gets atleast one flag, and possible two, or be at the second flag to help his buddy.

I think the advantage of being there first is quite big!

Not game breaking, but still worth changing, since its impossible to counter for somebody starting from the worst spot.

Sadly, in Cataract, the bottom slots are the ones closest to the shop. Which are typically Closed Slots and some hosts can be jackasses and know exactly what you're doing if you ask them to open up that slot -> Denial or Kick.
