Different Wi-Fi USB Dongles affecting connectivity?

So here it is. I have two different WiFi USB Dongles (both are NETGEAR). One is the WG111v3 and the other is WG111T. I can run internet explorer and any other internet application using either of them, without having to change any settings on my computer (aside from their unique 'smat wizard' software, which is virtually identical).

I can only seem to play Demigod, though, on the WG111T (which, surprisingly, is the older of the two). Both dongles are using the highest available version, and I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the WG111v3, but to no avail. When using the WG111v3, despite ping being initially lower, I am always ejected from a game about 30 secs in.

I know the simple answer is 'Don't use the WG111v3 then!', but really, it is a lot more convenient for me if I can use the WG111v3 over the WG111T. For a problem like this, I really don't know what information to provide or even if there is a solution. I suppose I want to know if anyone else has experienced this type of problem, or someone knows a way to solve this.

If the answer is obvious, I apologise in advance.

Are they both using the same channel?

They both use Channel 1, if that's what you mean. I'm pretty sure it's set on Channel 1, and not Auto.

So you are trying to deliver a wireless signal on the same frequency to your router and wonder why one or the other fails?

What you are doing is akin to CBS and NBC both broadcasting at exactly the same frequency.. what you get is a horrible mismash of noise that is only vaguely interpretable by the recipient. Instead of CSI Miami and Heroes you get... white noise...

In this case your router clears the 'noise' by failing the first or second overiding signal, with higher likelihood given to the 'idle' not currently transmiting one.

Set both to Auto

Or different channels..

Auto is BETTER because next you will probably choose the channel frequency that your wireless phone is on..

Hmm, I must be appalling at explaining this problem, sorry - I'm no good at tech-speak. What I mean is, when I put one dongle in, and I look in the settings, it says 'Connected to Router - Channel 1 - 54 Mbps - etc etc'. Demigod works fine. I take that dongle out, put the other in (the original dongle isn't in use anywhere else), and look at the settings - which are exactly the same, all the information is in the same place, and there is a line saying ''Connected to Router - Channel 1 - 54 Mbps...'. But for some reason, demigod won't work with this dongle in. Internet browsers work, as well as some other games that require the internet, but Demigod is a no-no.
