LuckyGrin, undeadstyle is what gives online games a bad name. He's just as bad as those hee-larious Rook griefers that eat up their own side's citadel and I have absolutely zero respect for him. And apparently, based on your sarcasm reference, you agree with me. Good for you.

Custom FFA games aren't important at all (I think so) = the only purpose to play em is to have fun = you can do whatever you wish as long as you have fun


Again: It's just a game Take it easy. Phrases like "no respect" etc are too way loud for virtual reality I think :

 

 

Btw: Undeadstyle always play WITHOUT favor as I mentioned and that exploit can only be used WITH favors.

So griefing is a-ok in your book unless in a tournament? Hacking would be also ok, were it possible? Verbal abuse would be ok?

Sheesh man.

As for respect, look it up in a dictionary.  

I respect people with skill who conduct them in a gentlemanly way the same way that I respect all people who are good at something.

How can you be "sick" of people that do not "understand", that they have to use non-default settings otherwise all these things are "buggy"?

those are just the options developers started with, in many games they even didnt consider changing them

 

dunno about demigod but the point is there is a wide range of option and good players should play withe the *optimal* ones not with the standard just cause they are standard

You shouldn't have to change the default settings to balance things. And in case you didn't know, you can't change the default settings in Skirmish or Pantheon.

Even with towers on high, I doubt it would do much besides delay the inevitable.

thats NEVER EVER happened in any game i played in the last 25 years

 

top players are always ahead of developers

and thats normal since usually top players are nerd nolifers while developers work

yup thats a big problem and thats why custom are for many months ahead of pantheon

the overpowerness of generals with default settings is out of control but anyway with some default settings there will ALWAYS be some setup or class OP

with custom good players will be able to prevent the buggy mechanics using the appropriate setup

Sometimes the devs are good, (such as Agent911 in SupCom I think?) but this is beside the point. They balance the game based on feedback from the community, so it's irrelevant whether they themselves are top players or not.

Towers high is a poor option imo because it puts Regulus and the two mass minion toons ahead of everyone else. I expect games also take longer, which is a needless modification to make to the game. 20 minutes is quite enough thanks.

The community has been playing the game since last year. That's what the beta was for.
