Minion overview and hotkeys

I'm aware of the M hotkey, but something I feel is lacking (unless it's already there and I'm missing it), is an overview over what type and how many minions that are under my control.

Quite often during a clash I'll have no idea which minions are still alive, save the M shortcut being grayed out signifying I have none. I find myself retreating them out of a battle just to see what all I have left - or if I have the mana for it, just systematically hitting 5 6 7 and listening for the narrator to tell me I'm already full.

These are slightly awkward workarounds, and I'd really love it if I could just have a simple UI element to show what all I have.

This is definitely also a pet peeve I have. Generals do need better UI feedback to manage the minions still around.

This will either be patched or modded in due time, I'm sure.

yep. during fights a regualry summon my minions just in case they are dead.

I am sure after they implement modding.

We'll find nice UI's like in WoW.

Especially for QoT I need better UI, so I can see my own minions

to sacrifice. I am never able to get them, when it is really needed

That'll be good to have dedicated shortcuts for all minion type. Also I'd like to see a possibility to make minion groups (for example - if I want priests to stay with me and send everyone else somewhere across the map, I could set priessts to group 1, archers+ spirits to group2, etc. So I won'thave to click 100 times to manage minion behavior).

Agreed, however modding will allow us to add in whatever GPG doesn't. I'm also guessing there will be multiple types of UI released from different modders, including character specific one, which will actually be better than what GPG could implement anyway.

There's already too much command lag to effectively use the current hotkeys. I can't really see this helping all that much until that's not a problem. :/
