New idea: Odette, the Avarice demigod

spoilt but brilliant little girl. An alchemist by profession

strengths
+ gold
+ exp
weaknesses
-expensive skills...cost gold as well mana
-bad, VERY BAD stats.....

The avarice demigod is an anti-farming character as well as leveller support. She can be very useful in battle; being able to buy items remotely from shops.

She lacks any stuns, slow, interrupts and must rely on item equips to support her weak stats.
Most of her skills cost gold as well as mana. Lastly she must level up quickly as most her skills are only useful early-mid game

Skills

1) Black Market(passive)-----any allied demigods able to access item shop from Odette. but all items double cost!

2)Collector(passive)---improve exp rate by 1,3,5% with every item equiped to Odette

3)Flare----- "fires an improvised artillery-grade bullet from spare items, dealing area damage".deals 500 dmg. Consume all equiped items. attack increased by 300 for every 1000 gold of consumed items. Skill cost 3000 gold, 700 mana

4)Transmute:-----"Odette transformd to her golden state", burn mana into gold. enchance effects of equiped items. Cost 5000 gold

5)Amnesia---- "Odette fires a cursed bullet upon foes."Deals 700 dmg.Enemy demigods can't gain exp for 10/15/20 seconds. Cost 3000 gold, 650/700/710 mana

6)Memory Vial ---- deal 500 dmg. Steal kills from enemy demigods by absorbing 40/50/60% exp. Cost 1000 gold, 550/600/610 mana

7)Gold touch------ grant luck to allied units, enhance exp gain and gold for 5/10/15 seconds. 30%,35%,40% rate. Cost 500 gold, 500/600/650 mana

hmm ... not too sure about this one.

i dont like how flare consumes all ur equips. does it actually get rid of them once u use this skill? when u say items do u mean equips like boots of speed or consumables?

i dont rlly see anyone playing a character like this.

Well, i thought up the flare skill to encourage players to not to 'rush buying' the best items early on in battle (might too overpowered that way), another incentive perhaps... Besides i don't expect flare being used very often and items may be purchased again from her black market ability.

what about the exp denial abilities, any objections to that? I'm not too sure about balancing the costs of Odette's skills in terms of both gold and mana

Yeah, I'm not too sure if anyone would've played this character, too experimental i think. However am to fill out a niche as other archetypes already being used; Regulus as 'sniper', or that demon demigod as some sort of teleport type. I hear that you can drop items for other demigods to use, so perhaps Oddete could be an item support demigod as well

well im getting confused at that fact skills cost money? is it to use it or buy the skill?

umm about the exp denial stuff ...

i think its taking advantage of too much of how the game naturally plays out. if u steal exp from a demigod you r gonna gain levels rlly fast while denying them levels to a high degree, meaning ur team will overpower the others in a short amount of time.

that being said ... maybe u could so eomthing like:

6)Memory Vial - target enemy is dmg for 500 dmg. for 20 secs, that target gains 75% less exp. Cooldown 30 secs.

something like that maybe, coz this way ur not completely denying them exp. not sure ... im finding it hard to think of stuff for this char.

well it is a very interesting char but what if its late game and u are broke? U are fucking useless! And im not really sure of her primary focuse. I agree that this is only an experimental char and should not be made. It could be made better but she has no clear focuse and has too many disagvantages.
