care to enlighten us on which abilities / items you believe should not be in that quoted list?
otherwise we just think you're an elitest ****
I'll do it...as I have time right now and found a few of them quite stupidly put there:
Sedna's Yetis
yea they are useless
UB's Bestial Wrath
teh increased damage is cool vs buildings, a shout can scare away a guy and so on... but yea do not base a build on this, first go +skill's and inner beast +ooze
Gogles(favor item)
yea they are useless, but the +12 view can be cool... but they are rendered useless as there are allot of better favor items
Regulus Deadeye
this skill is lvl5 snipe, it is an addition that is put there on lvl15-16 when you have first gone for heavy snipe and then gone auto attack for lategame (angelic wrath & high atk speed)
the 3% stun possibility is worth it due to it being an additional bonus, a lucky stun when a item is used but more imporantly a slowdown effect... is it a skill that's great alone..no is it a skill that is worth 1 skill point that would instead be spent on something stupid like 1 lvl more on main (even if you arent going to need that to chase down a guy)
Death penalty cit upgrade
this upgrade is a must late game... when the 3sec earlier respawn can mean the whole games outcome...
those 3secs can get you to your portal flags 3 secs earlier and maybe stop a cap...
ShakeNBake useless items:
Plate Visor (600g) ... no comment
it has 35% mana regen, it cant have more as then it could be easily used in manastack builds to give even more mana... (erburus unlimited mist is possible due to this item)
Theurgists Cap (3000g) none of the stats granted are of any use, 3000g better spent elsewhere
can be used to make minions stronger... and i think the mana/health regen stopper is kinda cool not that I've used it...
Vinling Helmet (3300g) worse stats than 1500g item, and proc has too low % chance to be of any use
if it would be better it would eliminate ANY mana problems... it is not meant to be better...its meant to require more money when going for higher mana
Footmans Sabatons (600g) can get better stats benefits for cheaper
yea tbh I agree...
Assassains Footguards (1750g) dont think the 10% dodge will save you, needs an increase
I've been thinking about trying out a dodge stacking build...might be strong again, if it would have 20% it might be possible to get too high a dodge
Ironwalkers (3750g) waaaay too expensive for the benefit it provides
1000armor, sure armor does get more useless when going further...but there might be some armor stacking rook that might find this cool... armor stacking is another build i have not tried but been thinking about trying out
Desperate Boots (5000g) waaaaay too expensive, only useful late game, and by then you should be winning so hard you will
never drop below the 30% health anyway
again might be cool for an sedna using life child & dodgestacking not sure...
Gauntlets of Despair (1750g) never really noticed anyone use these. 15% chance for 100mana could do with increase thenmaybe its viable. only on fast attack speed demigod too.
I have had these items used vs me, back then I did not know what happened and couldnt expect the mana drain... these gloves killed me a few times due to not having mana for heal/bats/foul grasp
it was an oak using these, early game... (the instance I remember well)
Sludge Slinger (750g) rofl 750g
attack speed reduced by huge amount...yea "rofl" kills auto attack builds when combined with ice TB or ooze UB
Twig of Life (3000g) not really needed even for generals, maybe has a place in a specialist build
did you know that Horn of Battle was removed due to the fact that it healed minions too much allowing for devestating attacks by them (vs buildings) I can see this be used similary even if not to as heavy damage
Magnus Rod (3250g) money better spent on a decent mana item
depends, again 50% more mana regen is cool... and i could see a QoT for example like the 50% cheaper skills
3250g to allow skimping out on mana items and thus releasing more slots for other items...might be good
Warpstone (5500g) maybe if range increased, instant cast, and cooldown decreased, would be worth it.
crubicle: warp to gold right away...or into enemy base the cheap way to get this possibility as assasin or general who hasnt taken cloak of night favor item
note that a warp stops auto attack commands thus this might be used for this aswell... I simply see warpstone as a crubicle spesific item...and thus NOT useless tho it should be instant or have increased range
_Golgoth_ useless items:
Saam-els Cloak.
this favor item is one of the favor items I think is actually worth their weight in gold
it gives 5% speed, allowing you to have that 5% to actually be faster than the enemy and hit while chasing
cant be slowed down more than one spedwand increases your speed
thus; you are always faster than enemy and they thus should not be able to kill you.
note: swift anklet is better if enemy has no slowdown skills or only low slowdown
Magical Coin pouch
true its not really "good"
