Minimap needs point and click

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I think it would be nice if gpg could add an important "luxury" addition. I believe the ability to point and click on the minimap and it centers the camera on that point is a must. I find it so annoying, as im sure alot of players do, that if you are on one side of the map and need to see the other side, that you have to move the camera to that area to see whats goin on. Maybe im just spoiled from other games of this genre, but it would make a world of difference to me if this could be implemented.

Zoom out, issue your order, zoom in. It takes a little while to get used to, but it's the way Demigod is supposed to be played. I would suspect a mod of this nature would eventually be released, however.

The mini map is currently overlaid on the game area and not within some UI panel. If it is clickable, it might result in mis-issued orders where trying to click on something below the mini map overlay causes your Demigod to head towards where you've clicked on the mini map. ZehDon is right. Try to get used to the zoom. You'll find it very intuitive once you've gotten the hang of it.

imo we should be able to use both possibilities !

using global zoom is nice and beautiful (like it), but....

I had some situations where I missed the minimap-feature -> "zoom-out-click-zoom-in" needs more time than only "1 click" on minimap.

in most cases it doesnt matter, but in many combat situations, a minimap click would be very very useful !!!

I dunno. I'd gotten pretty used to zooming instead of using the minimap, and HoN and DotA (particularly HoN) always have that problem where you try to move to the bottom left, accidentally touch the minimap, and start heading toward the upper right, which is, quite frankly, lethal in many cases.

An excellent point. It just sucks what happens and it can usually happen when things start becoming frantic.

Guess ill just have to get use to the zoom out and click tactic. but as demicom said...it would be nice to have both options. Maybe the option of enabling in the options menu. With that said, i know the team is hard at work with other tweeks and improvements such as new dg's and maps so keep up the good work guys.
