You know what though? I haven't read every single post, but I to a large extent have pretty much stopped playing too, and his cited reason is one of the reasons. The devs didnt' make enough to truly give this game support. I bought this during beta, Last Dec, and stuck with it for what seemed like forever, and I genuinely don't feel like playing it much anymore, almost never do I want to actually play. I still launch it every once in a while, but invariably, the game is addled with disconnects, not to mention the premade factor fucking with anyone who wants to play a casual game for fun, the community is small, they play one map, there likely won't be a lot more maps or demis since the devs probably took a loss on the game. And yes the people who left in a huff earlier were impatient imo, I stuck it out until not too long ago.
The caustic dialog, a legacy from DOTA, really makes playing with many of the other players impalatable. It's literally the worst community I've been associated with, and I used to play counter strike. Yeah he may be jumping on the bashing bandwagon. But the fun isn't there, at least for me. The difficulties are too many, the people are too often a difficulty, and it's likely getting only minimal support in the future. It's not even this line of thinking that made me stop, it was literally that I wasn't having any fun, win or lose. I still launch it, but rarely, idk. If you just read the posts in this thread, the timbre of a large percentage of the comments tells you a lot about the community. It's driven me away. Not that I want your attention, or even for people to change...But it is a pain to actually have fun playing this game, it takes work to have fun, you need to check out people, which is what the last update made possible, before you had to keep lists, only play smaller maps because people can't play them...IDK...I don't hate the game, I'm not even leaving really...I just don't play it anymore.
