Rook sitting in a tower farm can already brutalize any other DG 1v1. Only high level oak and UB have a shot at it, and the UB needs to be level 15+ to gut tower damage with acclimation. Most rook players I see end up with goofy builds that make no sense so they get a much poorer sense of rook's ability to hold onto an area of the map. When people get Structural Transfer and have to wait for level 18 to max out hammer slam, that's a mistake. When people get tower III and then stop leveling towers in favor of stats or slam, that's a mistake (tower IV is absolutely critical for mana management if you intend to both tower and slam), when people skip Trebuchet and have to keep placing towers in dangerous places to advance on a base, that's a mistake.
I don't know what builds you people are using, but if you can't hold back a UB from levels 1-15, especially one who gets anklets of speed or early boots or whatever exactly you mean by gearing to chase people, you're doing it wrong.
true. i'm no pro, but he's right about it.
i only do rook hammer/boulder/stats and i struggle vs ub its so much easier just to go ub and own the newb. as mostly newbs play ub cause imo hes OP...like i said OP ...obsenator dont reply to me as im over ur diarhea drivel.
that is very bad rook; its hard to win with it against computer (dont even mention good human player), but with all towers asap, and hammer from about 11-15, i am GODLIKE!!! (against comp only, but always! - nightmare easy then
Let me add that i also think that stats suck (moral also), i never ever get them (only if rook on 20 lvl -one stat!), and i would personaly like that they are removed completely from the game (or at least improved, but i'm more for first), cause they are really bad, & why we need another copy? (like dota have stats so should Demigod). I would rather like (without stats) additional 5 more levels (with of course bit easier leveling to compensate) so that we could have more skills taken, cause there arent actually much different demigod builds as option, its jus an illusion (for average players) while top players always go the same build (the best one), max. two kind of builds; it is just the matter of 'picking order' (which is again, at top players, ussually the same). (And for me the skills(& originality of them and characters) are what defines the game, so they should be the center, and the main reason what wins the game(of course with proper tactics and timing) and not the items! Items are OP (the higher ones from artifact shop), but i dont want to talk about it now, and it deserves more time.
