The Basics Again and Again

Ok let me say this one more time for everyone: The most important item is....

Scroll of Teleportation

This is what separates the good players from the bad ones. You always want to have these, so you can tele in for ganks or help guard a flag. I'm surprised how people with over 300 games, still dont get this! If you see the signal go down, you tele there the next chance you get! Or at least fake it!

Nobody expects this in early game, but starting in midgame you just don't leave the shop without tele scrolls. You simply dont!

Heh, yeah, people really need to realize this, there have been sooooo many times when I will be pugging and playing as rook (Bad combo, i know, lol) and i will be like, hey, someone, tele here, save my life, and geta kill, anyone, anyone? But no, noone ever has a tele, it is sad, especially with a rook on your team...

TP Scroll, maybe Portal Lock are the two best items in the game. Hmm, it'd be cool if there was a Teleport Lock:

Target a building with it, and it cancels a teleport to that building, and interrupts the caster.  No Tele Gank for You!

Agreed.  So painful to lose EASY kills because someone couldn't afford 250 in their build.

fake teleports do not work in 90% of the cases, well at least that's my experience, I do it all the time, but ppl never react to it, well they do sometimes, not often

I do agree that teleport scrolls are important, but I think cap locks might be even more important

tele ganking won't win you a game, well it could, but you'd need lots of tele ganks

locking portals / enemy gold flag will win you a game (on cataract 3v3 that is)

they work, if they dont react... next time you make a real teleport you just got a kill.

i rarely by teles because my nstincts tell me if I take the camera off my demi I may end up dead. I prefer caps and mana items

tp-scroll is the most important item. good teams allways try to outnumber their oponents, be it to kill or to rescue one. but of course, you need an eye allways watching the map to make real use of tp-scrolls. you remain noob if you don't learn this lesson, no matter how good you control your demigod in 1on1.

Teleporting in and killing the opponent (or even just running them off) usually directly effects flag control and portals in that lane.  Why settle for just a cap when you can get a possible kill and flag/portal control.

after level 8 or 10 if a second DG is porting in usually this ends in a nearly secure kill. at this level you have most slows and stunns already. same holds for the allys. knowing that you should come to help as your ally wont be able to escape. towers for cover do not help anymore. they chase him down up to the cit till he is dead if you don't come to turn the wheel around.

I agree with everything you said, but at the same time it is important to pick and choose when you use teleports. If time isn't critical it is better to walk and save the $250. I see a lot of people screwing themselves by teleporting everywhere and locking every single flag. At some point this is just too expensive and your opponent's equipment/upgrades will make them much stronger than you.

Very true. Good players will force you to use you teleport and waste a scroll (-250g). You see this alot at the gold mine flag of cataract. You basicly have to react to this or it will be capped. This is best done if you have an observer or creep wave in the middle, so you can escape if necessary. Never do this if you haven't capped the central flag of that lane. That's suicide (tele gank will get you killed).

I can't even count how many times I've forced another player to try and gang me just to see they cant get past my shield and watch my health regen back up quite a bit.

tele gank are quite powerfull, I always hate when a tower rook has 6+ tower stacked and Im fighting him (he is almost dead), and out of nowhere I get grasped and spited on. Damn the towers, they hide all teleports with their shiny lights.

try playing with graphics set on low (no my computer can't handle any higher)

you see teleports as a little black circle, if they even show at all

sometimes teleports show for half a second, then disappear, then two seconds later the guy appears
