It appears you can't random the new DG's yourself anymore  Either they fixed that bug before releasing this to public or I'm exceptionally unlucky.

It seems now that your DG remeber his last AA target so when you use a skill or item even with cast time not instant, your DG will automatically go back to AA whatever it was hitting before. I was attacking a tower and then TP out back to base. My Oak immediatly started running back to that tower to hit it again (strange) !!! Another thing that happened is that I issued a move command to back off after I was hitting a tower because I got low on health, and immediatly after that my Oak AND even the monks start running back towards that tower !!!! I dunno if this has happened to other people.

Overall, I love the two new DGs. The DA is very powerfull and freaking fast, and Oculus is just AWSOME !!!!!
strange, and am i the only one who hasnt seen the dg in game yet?

I tried too. However, the new DGs are in the code. Modding support is also out. There may be a way for a simple mod to allow everyone to play the new DGs. Or at least to try them out in single player.

Looks good. Downloading as we speak.


Overall I like the amount of fixes and some of the bigger new additions (in theory).



Of course Mods, Networking and AI are the biggest things. Things are looking up.

i really wonder if anybody in QA has tried TB in firemode autoatacking. hw the hell didn't they saw it is still not working. i mean it's nothing what happens from time to time. you jsut need to start a game and take tb... thats all.

 

and who ever things this patch made qots situation better like promised ... pff. didn't they said this are only a part of the patchnotes? yet it seems this is all, and obvioulsy at least one or two points even false.

You should have gotten your DG unlock code in the mail, assuming you have an unpirated copy. There were instructes there to edit the code into your game.prefs file to unlock these DG's, I'm sure everyone else here has already done it, and just didn't think it was necessary to comment.  All non-pirates know about this.

 

So either check you spam folder in your e-mail... or, uh, go buy the game for reals this time?

Izuz so you saying your demigod re engaged tower without command even while being on low hp? Is that a good thing. I mean if you zoom out for second to see whats happening on other line your demigod might commit suicide on tower during that time... Specially with regulus u need to watch the whole map at all times.

so if noobs are being raged out ... im guessing they can block team chat?

First death to DA's switch place shadow ability and it was awsome.   Just playing against the AI hanging out at a flag a little low on health.  He warped me back into the creeps and the only excape route was through him.... dead TB.

i haven't gotten any emails regarding the new demis...why couldn't they have just been enable in the first place when the patch came out?

Vunda, this has been covered numerous times before and in several Journals. Only a small percentage of the player base is going to have access to the new Demigods for balancing, once they've been correctly balanced, they'll be released for the rest of the player base. If this doesn't make sense, please refer to any of the other thread where this was discussed at length.

My Oak starts walking to re engage the tower, of course as soon as I noticed I clicked away again to make him get out of there.
