There is nothing on the released list that wasn't discussed prior to the release. There is nothing on the list that is not related to the items on the 'partial' list.
What they did was leave off a few aspects of the items on the 'partial' list so that they could claim, for people as foolish as yourself, that, WOW, they released even more 'fixes', almost none of which actually seem to fix the issues.
Both of those things are completely irrelevent, as they don't change the fact that the partial and complete change logs are different, and that you apparently can't read.
And I suppose it never occurred to you that they they only showed a partial change list because they weren't sure of what they were going to fit in it.
Secondly, I don't play online because, surprise, I don't want to play a broken and unfinished game with other people. This is not my cup of tea.
So, you bitch and moan about a game you don't even play, and admit to not playing. And, as Morpheas pointed out, 9 of your games are against AI. There's no way in hell you can complain about the game being broken, even if it is. I severely doubt you've ever experienced a single one of Demigod's more pressing problems.
Third, and try to follow me here, I don't use the Impulse interface because 1) It sucks, 2) It's slow, 3) It's phenomenally memory bloated, 4) It does not completely remove itself from memory when shut down. Consequently, you see that I have played the game 10 times with the Impulse application.
If you believed the numbers captured by the Impulse application, I have never played two of the games I purchased through Stardock, and I can assure that is not the case.
Impulse works perfectly for me, no idea of what you're talking about.
As to your complete lack of civility,
Pot calling kettle black.
well, I'm not shocked that, even when demonstrated to be wrong,
You haven't proven me wrong yet, sparky.
You are a fanboi.
Correcting your false information doesn't make me a fanboy. I have not actually commented on the quality of the patch, nor am I defending it beyond the changes that were listed. Am I disappointed by v1.2? If most of the complaints are true than yes, I am. But I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.
You are a child.
I'm 16, which makes this all the more hilarious since, according to your profile, you are 33. Getting verbally abused and corrected in basic english by someone half your age.....
You are going to throw a temper tantrum and call me names.
This coming from someone who's trolling on the forums of a game he doesn't even really play, and who called others "n00bs' in a previous thread for correcting him.
None-the-less, every release of a patch that does not include the material that is part of the original game is a bad release.
Include the material that is part of the original game? Aren't you complaining about new material?
Oh, and nonetheless is one word.
Simply telling us before hand that, no, we're not going to give you this material does not make it ok. That's some of the most idiotic logic I've ever had the displeasure of reading.
*Sigh* Again, reading comprehension. I never said it was okay, only that it's idiotic on your part to expect something in a patch when the Devs specifically say that it's not coming.
Further, you previously insisted that 1.2 might still have the new Demigods - on the clearly stupid theory that the patch list was 'partial',
Where the hell are you pulling this from? I never "insisted" that the new DG were coming in v1.2. If you are talking about my discussion with irek, we were talking about an annouced release date for v1.2, and never mentioned the new DG.
Good God, please learn how to read.
Now you suddenly pull out the 'it was never coming in 1.2' hogwash. When I buy a car, if I am promised delivery of new tires within the week, and they tell me they're going to come back 2 months later with a can of oil and still not bring my tires, they are still jerks and incompetents that are breaking my contract - telling me up front that they will continue to ignore their responsibility does not make it ok!
No one promised a deadline. They said what might happen, what was planned to happen, but never said xxx is going to happen at xxx date. Back in August when there was a post saying the new DG might come in a few weeks, it said, very clearly, "no promises." Do I wonder what's taking so long? Yes, I do. But do I care enough to throw tantrums on the forums? No, I actually have important things in my life that are above a $50 video game.
