Your Sedna is doing it wrong then. In fact, I see very few Sedna's that do it right. There is one correct way to play Sedna, and I rarely see it used. Sedna can 1v1 anything without minions. (I consider towers to be "minions.") Imo, she's the strongest 1v1 Demigod. (Haven't tried her against non-tower Rook, though.)

You keep saying that erebus has all of these OP skills and then mention that he can health stack well um NO he can have health stack OR skills and if you get all of the OP skills stun, bite, invincible you cant get minions and you have to buy more helms than hp. yes he may be a little OP but a BOTS ub will destroy him lvl 5 + if b/c the erebus needs mana items to stay and lvl in a lane and hp items to counter the spit ooze grasp combo. Late game giants make nightcrawlers almost worthless unless you have a full morale + HoB in which case i cannot have bite,mist,stun more than lvl 1 or 2 making him not OP.

Basically He's OP but not that OP you just have to pick the right counter

TB_Master didn't list minions as a reason Erebus was OP. His problem with EB was that Erebus is impossible to kill. The only thing I would consider OP about him is that it is possible to permamist on Leviathan using low-cost mana items. It allows him to camp reinforcement spawns and throw waves of minions at at the citadel. I haven't seen anyone use this in a long time, though.

Yeah, well, tower rook can be extremely annoying too.

He is incredibly easy to play, though. I tried him for the first time the other day, and I didn't die once against decent opponents. I sort of think a mist + minion build is a decent strategy.

I've found the best way to play sedna=D, and yes you can practically beat everyone with it including minion builds.

Anyway Erebus is OP as hell. I don't even understand what people think is remotely balanced about him.

I never claimed to be competitive; I claimed I have a higher chance of survival. Im not even an aggresive or competitive player.

lifekatana, you need to read my post again. I mentioned that Erebus is not as strong in the late-game, but that was no my point.

Erebus isn't overpowered in terms of health regen, damage, or anything. He just has the ability to leave the battlefield quickly if he has to. In almost every game I've played, he's never been particularly strong, but has done a good job when coupled with teammates (as all DGs do). He will get more kills than times he will die because he has an easier retreat mechanic.

The problem as I see it with Erebus is that it takes all of three skill points invested (2 bat swarm, one mist) to make him the most mobile demigod on the field, to the point of near-invulnerability.  Similar mobility skills do not see anywhere near that level of return per point spent.  Diseased claws?  Permafrost?  Fire aura?  Inner grace?

Warp strike I think comes closest, but it's a one-way port, requires a target, and can't typically be used as an effective instant retreat in most situations.  Bite may be some horribly imbalanced bullshit as well, but we'll never know, because batswarm and one point in mist are so stupidly effective, they overshadow anything else.

You may not be able to kill eb, but that doesn't mean you can't beat him
