The replay that demonstrates the bug can be found here:

I noticed that when the computer plays Rook it seems he can hit me with his Hammer Slam skill for full damage no matter how far away I am. I figured this was a bug because it doesn't work that way when I use it. I made this replay to show what I'm talking about.
I set us at level 20 with a ton of cash so I could buy some items. In a lot of games I have so many speed bonuses that I can run pretty far away from him when he starts the animation, but to make it easier I just used the Cloak of Elfinkind to instantly warp out of range.
The replay is really short. Basically I run out to the center and wait on him. Then I engage him and as soon as he starts the slam I warp away. He doesn't even stun me with Boulder Roll beforehand, so I have plenty of time to escape. It looks like I get far enough away to escape the hammer (or at least take reduced damage since the skill works that way), but I end up taking the full damage.
I've also noticed in other games that if AI Rook is targeting an ally of mine--whether AI or another player--and he happens to do Hammer Slam, I could be right under Rook's nose and I will just take the reduced damage as if I was in the outer ring of the skill's area.
