I wish I had the replay to show it to you guys, with the best damn UB i have ever seen in DG. It was me, DiceAreEvil and Playgroundlegend, vs Patz and 2 other pugs. Patz (enemy) was UB. I was erebus, and my allies were Oak and Regulus. The other 2 players were pretty useless, so me and my team were litterally farming them, getting a lot of kills. However, Patz (The UB), was getting kills, by spamming sigils early on, did a lot of farming and outleveled everyone by 3-5 levels.

When he hit level 15 he got Acclimation of course. From that point we just couldnt kill him, so my regulus ally said: I will get Ashkandor. and so he did get it. I was watching as he took a tower in 10 sec with just auto attack, and the nice yellow number 4xtimes critical hit, so he had it for sure.

The UB was pure ooze build, no spit at all. Full stats, full ooze, 1 point in grasp, and inner beast and Acclimation.

By the time he was level 20 we were levels 15-16. So he decides to go take our portal just like that. My team sent away the other 2 guys from the right portal, as the UB was going in the left portal. He captured it and stayed there, destroying towers. I go to fight him with my erebus, he took all my 7k hp and i took his 2k out of 9k (without sigils) max hp. I go to crystal, while I request assistance from my team.

We all go to kill him, he doesnt run. We fight him 3v1 spamming Bite, Penitence, Surge of Faith, Mines and insane AA from Regulus. He almost killed my regulus ally but Oak with his shield saved him. Reg goes to crystal and comes back. The UB was NOT sigiled, he had 3000/9000 hp. He starts to run, but we were already on his tail. I caught up to him, with Bat swarm, Bite immediately. Oak goes behind me and starts Penitence, surge spamming. Reg caught up, and we were all 3 hitting him with low hp. Reg had full Maim, Max range, Max Angel fury, +Penitence+Bite=He was insanely slowed.

We were at the 2 side towers at that point. All hitting him as hard as we could. He hits a sigil, goes to 5k hp. His max HP was 16k, but we had hit him hard.

He managed to go up until his crystal with 300-400 Hp. He COULD NOT kill him. No matter what.

What was happening is that he got Bulwark of the ages, (saving gold probably) along with Acclimation. So even just a hit from my regulus ally (over 500 damage) was enabling his Acclimation, or a bite or Penitence. His Acclimation skill was always on, along with Bulwark of the Ages, along with Groffling Warplate +other armors. He had about 90% damage mitigation.

And the 40% was just from Acclimation. To make a long story short, we lost, as his allies decided to help him in a minute or so, they teamed up, and took out citadel down. Good Game.

I wish you could see the replay, see my team play PERFECT, only to lose to 1 enemy demigod. My team<UB.

lol there is no playing good with UB. UB is point and click no matter what they tell you. And an ooze build is quite inferior to a hybrid. Good strategy to stack armor+bulwark and acclimation though.

Screamin out that Erebus and now UB is overpowered is pure nonsense. Next time u will loose againts good sedna player you will scream out that she should not have monks (or some other bullshit).

Main part of this game is adapting to enemies you have to face. You do that by choosing your item selection and skill selection to counter enemy demigod or specific builld.

If ub go pure ooze stack speed and nuke him from distance. If he likes to spit get orb of defiance to netraulize it. or 1 lvl in mist or extra lvl in heal or shield. If he stacks speed get gloves of despair. If he stack AA speed use hex scroll.

If you dont understand those mechanics and have only have one true uber build to counter all demigods i suggest finding easier game to play like World of Goo or Farm Frenzy. Actually Farm Frenzy need strategy thinking too...

Feeding UB or any other demigod to the point where he can afford Bulwark is seriusly sing of poor team performance.

A cavalry unit is spotted by your army. Do you give your men swords and shields because that's what they're more comfortable with? HELL NO, you give them some pikes so they stand a chance.

Ok, I wasnt gonna say anything, but you "force" me to do so.

First of all, which game do you play? Are u sure its Demigod?

Secondly, there are no UB speed builds, and if you go a speed build (swift anklet, boots of speed, etc) You will get slaughtered by any other decent player.

Third, AA build? what are u talking about? Glove items? Mard's Hammer favor item? I hope you are not, because that kind of UB build, would be maybe the worst in history of Demigod! Unless you are talking about a normal hybrid UB, with more emphasis in the Inner Beast skill, early on. That could work, but it is not something with an advantage over another UB, or something that other UB's dont get. Every decent player gets Inner Beast sooner or later, and at level 15 Acclimation of course.

About pure ooze build, I think I already said that it can be terrifying in the hands of a very very skilled, yet feeded and lucky player. Stacking HP+pure ooze build FTW!

Lastly, Pure spit build? really? No ooze? I will not even comment on this one, just play a game with AI, (dont do that in Multiplayer, you will embarass yourself), a normal 3v3, but use the Skirmish mod, so that you ensure there are at least enemy priests, on the field, or angels and catas, whatever, purchased by AI. Kill those priests, catas, etc. I would like to watch that.

Did i say i use them??? I seen dozen of people doing speed build I even seen bestial wrath and dmg stacking item build - AKA full AA build. But i never said i would use them.

I have 2 builds for beast. Hybrid with Blade of the Serpent or full ooze with blood. And I belive those 2 are the only valid builds for UB, but like i said before i seen all of these builds being used with more or less succes.

The only OP demigod is UB, end of story.

No demigods are supposed to go 2v1 or 3v1, when they outleveled everyone, kill them, and live to tell the tale.

And dont tell me that good hybrid UB, cant take 3 weaker players, when he is 10 level and they are 7.

Insane DPS = OP, plain and simple.

Well, i don't think ub is overpowered is a valid argument. All this depends on map and the number of players. 1v1 Erebus vs Ub, considering both players more or less the same skills level. Erebus is going to win 80 percent of the time.

Reg is very weak at 1v1 and 2v2. 3v3 it gets stronger. for 4v4, i think reg is a tier 1 demigod.

Rook in 3v3 is a must for high skill game in cataract due the position of lanes. He can close down the hp flag and force the opponent fight elsewhere without hp flag or fight in tower farm. So rook is op in 3v3 cat but if you pick rook in 4v4 map that wont be the case. There are 4 flags to fight for and you can leave rook and pull the fight to other places.

There are really many options and counters and variations in this game. If you want to compare skills, sedna heals for 1200 at level 7 and nullifies spit and spit does 1150(if i remember correctly). So compare these 2 skill and heal is much more affective compared to spit. Ooze is probably the skill that makes ub shines but i dont think it makes him over powered.

Use ice tb with renawel and you get 3 sec stun every 9 seconds at level 15, so it becomes an op skill at high levels. in an average fight of 20 sec, you can pretty much stun the enemy for 9 seconds.Add a good silence sedna on top of that, and the enemy wont be able to cast anything almost through the battle.Or throw a assasin erebus and mass charm will combo well with it too.

If you are using qot, fight with the creep waves and you ll see how hardcore the creeps can damage with armor decrease. With the creep wave of cats qot can take any dg 1v1 if the other dg not too fed.

So basicly i think any dg is affective depending on combinations(dg set up,map,number of players).

P.S:However i still feel one dg is bit weaker than others, which is DA.

P.S2:both irek and i are hedgie's smurfs.

You don't even need that. Just get a Sedna with full Mag. Presence and between Silence + Frost Nova you can prevent them from casting 8 out of 9.5 seconds. If you get their Celerity flag your cooldown drops to 8 seconds which means you can do it forever D:
