Modding on a Mac

I know there is not much sense on modding on a Mac when I can not play the game on Mac. But maybe you can help me, I didn'T find anything.

I want to change some textures (the dds files). I have a nice idea for Rook. I want to make him look like a Babylyon-Rook, like this:

Most times I am working with photoshop, so I would prefer a way to make the textures in PS. However I need a Programm that shows Rook in 3D with all the changes at the same time I am changing the Textures. I am not sure if you can follow me (my English is horrible, I know)

Something like the Dreamweaver where you can change the html code and see at the same time the changes on the homepage. Like this I want to change the Texture and see the changes in 3d on Rook.

but you'll need to convert the Granny files to OBJ files.

I browsed the site, but the Mac version of ZBrush is "coming soon".

Also, do you have something that isn't a 30 day trial?

3.5 is coming soon 3.12 runs on Mac.

It is also either a 30 day trial or $595 for a license. Do you have something closer to the free range?

Blender will work for preview and Cheetah while not free will also provide most of the features need to do realtime texturing in the Mac OSX.

the best way i think is using freeware on windows to convert the files to psds and open the psds on mac... this is the way I am working.
