Hey all. Recently came back to play more Demigod and ran into a small issue. The game won't launch! Every time I try it shows me the screen with the Demigod logo, flickers a little, then closes with the following message:

"compressed texture support is missing or disabled - check video drivers for updates"

I certainly checked my video drivers multiple times and reinstalled the latest update. Even tried reinstalling Demigod off of Impulse. However, I am running XP via Boot Camp on a Mac, so the last update is over a year and a half old. This could likely be responsible, but Demigod ran successfully earlier.

The game is also running in widnowed mode, since I had selected that last time I played. I suspect this might be related, but since I can't open the game to change it, I have no way of knowing. It is possible that my copmuter is just getting too old, which would make me sad. ut if anyone has any information on what might be the issue, or how I might return the game to windowed mode without launching it (I poked around the data files for a current prefs file, but with no luck), it would be much appreciated.
