So there's nothing wrong with slam, it's a great skill. But the build I like, especially against melee/minion teams emphasizes using boulder as often as possible. Taking Slam instead of GS and stats gets you pretty close to the same build, but if you play in my *style* you'd find yourself rarely with a good chance to use Slam. If you want to play a Rook using slam as your primary weapon, choose a Slam build, but you won't be throwing as many boulders as I would in a match.
If you're playing against me, you should just GG when giants come out because tower rook falls apart without some slam. Towers still have their uses, which is why I always max them at 10, but getting like 20 dps and 400hp won't help you when I'm hitting your entire team for 1700 every 7 seconds. People have so much armor late game that towers don't really do much damage either, so they're kind of spit roasted.
Which is absolutely true. But the point of my build is to win on WS anyhow. If you're using my build and losing on WS then yeah, you need to switch up to a slam build. And there's plenty of time to adjust because you'll probably be at level 11-12 when WS 10 pops and you can see it coming for a few levels.
It's not *the* build. . . it is *a* build.
