Is there anyway that people who upload heaps of icons to the Objectdock and Misc icon galleries can be asked to upload 1 zip file instead of a load of individual icons. I think doing it as individul is quite selfish as it moves everyone elses work down out of view basically and kinds of makes people like myself a little pissy when we have to scroll down through a heap of icons by the same person to get to others work.
I agree Nimbin and I've asked this question numerous times to no avail. One reason I don't do docks as much anymore. Even that they have not one...but two galleries to upload to.
Well, I can see your point, but, on the other hand. If I want a winrar icon and ONLY a winrar icon, then one at a time works fine.
Usually, when I go looking for an icon, I want a specific icon, not whole set. So I see both sides of the issue.
In that case I would expect to see just an icon for that program and that would be fine. The problem is when someone decides to start doing all these game icons for instance and just uploads one at a time rather than doing a bunch and then putting them in one big package with a screenshot showing everything that is in it. Much like a an iconpackage. The same with themed icons. Some times someone will do 5 or 6 icons that are of the same theme and those should be in a package as well.
But this is a pointless discussion since it's never going to change. I've tried for years to change it.
