So hey everyone, how's it going?

As you may or may not have noticed, I've been away from the forums for quite some time now, and thats a little unusual of me.

The thing is, that I am really bored of everything around here. I like doing the same thing over and over again, (playing an online game, for instance), but not forever, obviously. Everything gets stale for me, after a while

For a long while now, I was feeling somehow obligated to post in these forums, without any actual desire to do so. Like I had to be here, post something, in order not to let the forums die. And thats just not right, you should be here, because you want to, because you enjoy being here, right?

Sorry if thats bad news for you, or I'm glad if thats good news. Its nothing personal, nothing has really changed in RL, its just my thing. Its why I left Demigod, and every other online game/community I was on. And I have to say, I've been here for far too long, longer than every other community I was in.

That doesnt mean that I wont, or will come back here. I also may post something here, whenever and if I feel like it, I just wont be the typical always-present morpheas again.

I am also sorry if I caused any mischief to (or offended) anyone around here, hey, its only the internetz, and people are rarely serious, as its not RL.

Except, of course, that Xer07 couldn't possibly be a computer. He's too obsessed with things that even a Turing AI couldn't care about.

I mean, his biggest problems seem to be variations on "oh noes, i'z stuck wiv mah famleez!!1!" or "oh noes, i'z dunno wut ta doo!!1!".

Obviously, he isn't so unintelligible as to phrase them like that, but you get the idea.

I'm guessing a scale of 6-18.................months. TBH, Morph sounded very serious about how he felt like he was only posting due to a sense of obligation, and that it was no longer fun anymore for him.

I'm sad to see him go, because I think he's a great addition to the forums. One thing I do respect is that he simply didn't decide, "oh, I don't feel like being part of the forums anymore. I'll just stop posting." He actually came up and said, "hey guys, I'm 99% perma-leaving. I might drop in for a few minutes if I feel like it, but don't count on it."

The most striking thing about his post, though, is that he considers us (the regulars, I assume) to be the most interesting and extraordinary people he's met, and will likely ever meet, online.

It's actually rather emotionally touching.

I'm not sure just what that clip is. It's got WWI/WWII-esque people, but deals with something that happened in what, the sixteenth century?

In other news, I've decided that I will write a Warhammer 40,000&Mass Effect crossover story. This isn't the first one I've decided on, though it will probably be the first written.

Anyways, it basically covers the adventures of a Catachan, a Cadian, a female Stormtrooper, a Commissar, and a Techpriest in the ME 'verse.

And of course, they have a vehicle. And, of course, the Commissar at one point will say "Drive me closer, I want to hit them with my sword!"

Because that line is simply epic.

Also, the Catachan will pwn a couple of Krogan--in close combat. Cuz, he's, y'know, a Catachan.

I'm debating whether or not to give the Imperial group a Valkyrie transport and an aircrew for it, because then the Catachan can yell "GET TO DA VALKYRIE!" like in DoW2:Retribution.

Of course, this is but one idea. Also one of the grimdark/humor/grimdark/humor types, instead of grimdark/drama/grimdark/tragedy type.

Bonus points: I have an idea for a series of shorts, involving the Angry Marine Angrius Furios and his ANGRY escapades around the various 'verses, pwning stuff because he's ANGREH FOR DA EMPRAH.

This will naturally involve him killing the entire cast of Star Trek:Voyager, because that show is brimming with HERESY.

I've always thought a Warhammre 40K crossover to 2 1/2 men crossover would be funny. Charlie SHeen's character would soooo be a high priest of Slaanesh.

CURSES. I meant to address this in my previous post.

1. Who are you? I do not recall your presence in any way, shape, or form.

2. It wouldn't matter if Sheen's character ended up a high priest of Slaanesh. He'd get purged, just like all heretics should be.

3. Really? Really? A 40K and 2&1/2 men crossover? Come on, there's way funnier 'verses to cross it with.

I mean, I read a Halo-40K fic, and it had the classic sword-waving-Commissar yelling "DRIVE ME CLOSER, I WANT TO HIT THEM WITH MY SWORD!"

It also had a Titan pwn a Scarab. And you can't tell me that a Warhound Titan wouldn't pwn a Scarab, because it so would. It's a millenia-old God Machine that's about as tall as a Scarab, and is designed for reconnaissance. And, it has way better guns.

@Whiskey:  I agree, anything can pwn a NEWER scarab, but the original was much sturdier(You actually had to get inside to pierce its armor)  The new ones just need to be shot in the ass with a couple rockest before they self destruct...lame...

@Shalkto:  Whiskey is very direct, I believe that was just his way of aknowledging a new member to the chatroom and sizing you up as friend or foe for his TROLL-DAR.

I never played Warhammer...but if you think theres something that can eat a scarab, I'ma look it over...
