Is there a known bug where random and incorrect anouncements are constantly made?

Demigod constantly has the announcer spam announcements and ones which have nothing to do with the map currently being played.  Anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix?

I believe this is a known bug.  What language version are you using?

I've never had this issue personally, but I'm VERY certain I've seen it posted about before.  I'd suggest taking a look at the DG technical support forums.  If you find something, please reply here.  Otherwise, I'll do a little digging after work tomorrow. 

Also, just to clarify - can you go into more detail on EXACTLY what is happening?

I checked the tech forum and saw other people posting about it, but no solutions.

 

I constantly get random voice messages, from other demigods, from my own, from the announcer, random messages which are qued based on various in game actions, yet they have no relation to what is going on.

Epicurus - I did a little digging but unfortunately didn't find anything all that useful (same as you if appears).  You should send an email off to support@stardock.com and see if they can offer you any assistance.  Sorry I can't be of more help

He means that by disabling the sound, the problem is resolved... eg - you can't hear sound anymore.  So, not really a fix, per se, but the problem goes away.  Hope you sent that email to support@stardock.com btw.

So, if perhaps its a weird sound issue, perhaps toy with your sound settings in demigod.  Disable reverb, low/med/high sound, etc.  See if that helps?

I've tried every permutation of the sound settings, no joy.  For now, I simply turned off  voiceovers, but i'd like to have them!
