I don´t know, where to post this thread, but I guess a lot of people having troubles with the fences-installation and netframework. It asked me nearly about one workday to get it right.

During installation FENCES told me about several mistakes: "compromised", "framework-defects" and at last I succeeded to install the free version, but the menues had german and finnish language mixed.

The framework-installation seems to be the main reason, because it was all over after this:

uninstalling ALL framework-installations as far as possible: first with the XPsp3 software-management, then with the framework cleanup-utility (dotnetcleaner). Between those basic steps I always shut down the system, used first Registry First Aid to clean up, and CCcleaner too. Fences of course was cleaned up too, the free as the pro-Version. The bin is emtied by CCcleaner.

After that I reinstalled dotnetfx35, a file with about 237054kB. This lasted nearly 5 hours!!! It seems to download and manage an unbelievable amount of bytes...

Then I started the fencesPro installation and everything was fine. I wonder whether I should encourage myself to install netframework 4....
