Tabs for Windows FINALLY linux has had this since Red Hat Version 3 (approx. 20 years ago for all you yung 'uns)
+1 and further - I just installed it literally 1 minute ago. The first thing I notice is that you CAN remove the title bar string from the explorer (or whatever application) window - which gives me my full path where the tab does not give me my full explorer path, not even when I hover the mouse over it in the form of a tool tip but the app does not give the option to remove the tab title (or name if you prefer) and leave the explorer window (or whatever app) title bar intact.
So, I group explorer windows mostly - what I see for the tab title of Groupy is : C:\pathto\whatever\thisi.........
but what I see in the windows explorer titlebar is :C:\pathto\whatever\thisismyfolderpathname
A clear difference when moving files or focus between multiple explorer windows - sometimes I have 20 or 30 windows open and I need to see their full path - the extra title on the tab bar itself is an annoying distraction, I find my eye being drawn toward it every-time I look as it is the highest point of the window and I'm used to looking there for my path information. I would like to be able to completely remove the tab title making a blank tab and also to rename the tab title to whatever I like, which would also have it's uses.
Great APP - I will buy it if it cause me no grief during the trial period. I know Microsoft is coming out with their own tab shell for windows explorer by I am not sure it will expand into non-MS applications and I am not sure the tab shell will be restricted to Metro apps - which for the most part are gone from my windows 10 shortly after install.
