The purpose of Fences seems to be largely defeated if it is impossible to find something that resides within a fence on the Windows (7, 10) desktop. Searching keeps resulting in.... it's on your desktop.... which I know, although I may not remember inside which Fence. E-mail support is apparently unavailable for this product, so I trust that the answer will appear here somewhere. Thanks for that.

A search method for Fences is being considered. Thank you for your thoughts on the feature.

+1 for search within fences. Would be AWESOME.
I use google Drive File Stream, which doesn't allow indexing by windows (WTF!) so contents dont show up in windows start searches. Being able to search File Stream folders from a desktop portal instead of having to open a folder every time would be very useful.
That would seem to only be true if the actual files are not synced to the local PC. I could be wrong but....
I must admit that I was most unhappy with the search function "being considered", although it is about the most essential part in terms of usability.
Users as well as reviewers have been asking for this as early as 2009!
Why the HOAX?
Hi Sean, thanks for reply. Unfortunately it really is the case for File Stream, even for files set as available offline. A lot of discussion about it on google forums etc. I was surprised at first too.
Any timeline on implementation of search for Frames?
