I've just bought this product and noticed while this feature works well, it's a noticeable downgrade from Windows 10's show taskbar labels, as it displays too few characters on a desktop monitor. Just about every application has a '...' as it's unable to present the full name.

I too like this. I would like to see more customization for taskbar buttons including min/max width, Active/Inactive indicator etc..
