Icons in the systray are doubled or even tripled and shifted.
The problem is almost permanent.
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.
The problem occurs since some version of Start11. Currently I use the version 1.36.
I am running Windows 11 version 22H2 in builds 22621.900 and 22623.1028. The error occurs in both versions of Windows.
22623 is an insider release of Windows isn't it?
Yes, build 22623 is an insider release (beta channel).
Hello,
Do know that Stardock do not support its product on Windows Insider/Beta release. Anyway, we appreciate your report.
Thank you,
Basj,Stardock Community Assistant
Use it as a heads-up of coming problems.
Yes, as I mentioned we appreciate your input. For your information, Support and Dev do scan the forum for input such as this and Neil is Dev in Start11.
Later builds of Windows 11 do not allow multiline system tray icons. 22623 should be using the new taskbar already in fact.
Have you used anything else to alter the taskbar or opt out of the newer taskbar?
Good question! Unfortunately, I can't remember how I enabled the two-line systray. That was a very long time ago.
Just for your information, in Windows 11 Beta Release 22H2 22623.1037, the taskbar looks like this. I had to disable the taskbar expansion and the alternative start icon.
