Largest population on a Large Map?

Just wondering what the largest population at the end of a game on a Large map is.

My best figure is 906.9B :)

And, the biggest Planet I had in that game was Class 28 with a population of 94683.

Wydom@ker,

Way back when, before they changed some of their tables, it was possible to get planets built up to astounding classes (I saw some in the 50+ range, but someone reported higher) and populations over 131 Billion. Things have been changed and these are not possible any more, and they may change again. It may be nice to have the Metaverse have the capability to provide such comparisons once the first release ships, but just now I think the variations between builds makes such comparisons invalid.

I miss those mega planets, i was scouring the map for moral resources and getting in fights to protect them from the other races from building starbases on them. Course now i do the same with influence resources.

Lucky Jack,

I didn't know that - wow class 50+. I have only playing for the last 2 builds and have not noticed any change. I agree with you about comaprisons being invalid based on what you have stated.

In mid-beta3, it was possible to get planets up to class 171 (26 * 660% [100 base + 10 soil enh + 10 habi. imp. + 50 terraf. + 40 earthworms + 90 morale/planet quality resources (x5)]). And it was entirely possible to go farther on the rare occasion that more than 5 morale resources popped up.

I had one game on a large galaxy where my population was well into the trillions.

Terraforming has since been dropped to 20%, and morale resources no longer increase planet quality, so 48 or so should be the highest planet class possible without altering either the save game or the data files.

I've reached well over a trillion in 4z, but I was only playing against 2 "fools". As I up the difficulty, I'm sure that kind of number will be harder to reach.
