The movies are still jerky. Looking closely, it's the sound for the movie that's the real problem here, the movie is tolerably smooth but the sound is coming in bursts that coincide with the tiny jerks in the picture (must be bouncing off the same timer). That creates the impression of a really jerky movie. For what it's worth, the animation of the arriving ship in the opening screen is glass-smooth. But not the opening doors.
I just had a CTD when I tried to colonize a class 14 planet in a system I already owned. I set the number of colonists on the ship to 99 million then clicked on the planet and BOOM!
Sorry there's no smart exception with this one as I forgot to load SE before running the game. If it happens again on replay I'll catch it. Where do I upload the files?
