CTD in B5C

I get a CTD in B5C when I try to colonize a planet in the same system where the colony ship was built. When I colonize with the pre-selected number og colonists, everything goes fine. But when I change the number of colonists before i colonize, the game CTD's.

How can I get SmartException? (I know this seems like a total newbie question, but I really want to get SE.)

My debug.err looks exactly like louie's. A heck of a lot of lines with bink's and then nothing.

If you launch the ship and then enter the same system it was created on, you can colonize the another planet without a problem.

I sent one of these to Cari already, but I only mentioned the changing the ship's complement in passing.

Turns out that's what causes the bug all right. I had thought it was colonizing the third planet that was causing it, but it turns out you're right...it's changing the number of colonists that breaks it.

I am always changing the number of colonists to be loaded onto a colony ship and have no problems. However, I am launching them and colonizing the planet later, rather than trying to colonize them from the completion menu. I am doing this because of the bug where switching to the planet detail switches the planet list from system view to galaxy view and messes up the completion view chain.
