Stardock vs Drengin

Hi, maybe it would be a good idea to explain the difference between Stardock and Drengin, since it seems both of them have subscriptions that include GalCiv... or is it the same thing?

Stardock is the name of our company.

Drengin.net is the name of our gaming subscription network which includes GalCiv, The Corporate Machine, LightWeightNinja, and other games.

And, for the record, I have nothing against Frenchmen. One of my favorite philosophers was Violtaire, a Frenchman... but of course he was twice imprisoned in the Bastille and eventually exiled from France. ;) LOL

Sorry, no edit function yet.. I guess it will be in when they update the board sometime in the near future ;)
And yes,politics do NOT belong here, I have certain opinions to but I try to keep them out (I think ive succeded?).
If we ALL try to keep this place in the same way as it has been for the last.. oh I dont know how long its been.. year? then we will all have a great time here, patiens is required, also after the release when the players opinion will show on these boards! Happy gaming!

Drengin is also the name of one the (evil) races in Galciv, hehe.

Don't know if there is a connection between that and whatever world domination plans Stardock has ;)

I personally think that the galactic political environment presented to us by Brad & co. here is plenty for political junkies; after all, when you consider it, our politics here on Earth is only 1 planet out of however many 15+ - class worlds there are on a gigantic map. I daresay that the coding required to replicate the back-and-forth between tens of thousands of nations on that scale would bring down even one of the Crays of legend.
