Preorder and get beta?

That I don't know. You'd have to get word from Yarlen or someone Monday about that.

Usually we keep the beta open for a few days after launch, though I think we are planning to keep it more limited this time around.  If you miss this window, another should open up before release (don't know when that would be).

How will we be recieving notification about the beta for download? I pre-ordered already and am just curious.

Also, forgot to mention, if you pre-order with tokens (via a TotalGaming.net membership) you'll get access to betas immediately once available. The reason for this is that credit card transactions don't get charged until we process them, while token orders take place immediately. So when you pre-order using tokens, your account is updated immediately. It's a nice side-benefit that "works" the system.

So I have had DA preordered for a long time now. So basically on the 16th I will get a email and it will say heres the link and bla bla bla download it and i am good to go correct? Also where can I print off another copy of my online receipt if possible for just incase I lost the original I printed off? I still got it but I still worry about it. I have been all excited about betas lately cause I have been playing Supereme Commander Beta for over 3 weeks now and getting GC2DA on friday and a Halo 3 Beta in the spring... I am going nuts lol.

The window refers to the time during which preordering (if you haven't already) will gain you access to the current beta phase. If you don't preorder in/before the window, then you can't get access to the beta until the next phase begins. Once you've been granted access to the beta, you should be able to download it at any time.

Download will be via SDC. I don't know when the devs are expecting to have it up there, though.

Oh sorry for ignoring that guys well the fileplanet opens up and closes... Ahh you can wait until this happens again ie hawk eye the site stocking it too death or B become a real member and pay the minimum $15 for quarter of the year and get your beta key. I got lucky with stocking the site... but you might have to pay Fileplanet it if you really want to play. But I must say Sup Com KICKS ASS ITS GOING TO BE THE SHIT ie I will use PC Gamer score system 97%-99% Damn near Perfect! Naval, air, land and experiment all kick ass, all the little ideas and big ones make this game sweet. Upgrading your commander, aa defs, artillery, nukes, missles, shields, sonar, radar, stealth shields, 280+units and rising, tons of buildings, no research just upgrade a build ie factory to level 1to 2 to 3,etc... the list is to huge to tell. 2 resources mass and energy. Building buildings in advance or building units in advance, fa tories assisting each other in build or engineers assisting in builds... so many strategies ahh ok now i am ranting on sorry GC2 and SC both KICK ASS!

I've pre-ordered and jumped into the first phase of beta unforuneately I'm going to probably have to finish a GC2 game or make a fresh install so I don't ruin my current GC2 metaverse game.

DA is mostly separate, yet dependent on GC2. There is a minor update to GC2 itself for DA just to make the two compatible, but it should have zero bearing on GC2 so any games in progress won't be harmed. And you can still play regular GC2 after DA is installed.

I have preordered w/ tokens and DA shows as a purchased game in SDC. I tried down loading it and I get a serial number error. Help.

Did you register a serial or did it appear as purchased automatically? You may try using the lookup serial option, and registering whatever DA serial the email from that gives you (if there isn't one regsitered in SDC already, or if there is but it is different).
