How Fast Is Your Internet Connection?

http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest
I test my ISPs speed from my PC about once per month. It seems as Comcasy must have bumped my downstreem soeed, as I pay for 6mbps service, and no matter where I test from, it's been greater than that.

Do you use: Cable? DSL? Dialup?

What are the results of your best recent speedtest?

Looks like they are cheating you on the upload.  I use Comcast as well, and will have to test mine.

I'm not certain they are cheating me Doc. I only pay for 384 on the upstream.

This is the info I got from.....

DSLNet Australia SpeedTest

Your current bandwidth reading is:

1.28 Mbps

which means you can download at 163.56 KB/sec. from our servers.

Might be running a bit slower at present....I pay for a 1.50mbps connection and can often d/l at around 170 - 180KB/sec.

Oh well, that copy of War & Peace I'm d/ling is gonna take a bit longer.
