Frogboy!! Just a month ago I thought you said...

I ask a month ago if we would get the Retail boxed version of the game sent to us and you said "YES"..

Now I read that we will receive emails giving us an option to get just the CD mailed to us for $5????

What happen between your "YES" and Now????? :( :( :(

The question was whether beta testers would be able to get a hard copy of the game. That was the way I took it.

I.e. would beta testers have to download the game. The answer is that beta testers can get the game.

Some beta testers pre-paid for shipping and those users will get their copies shipped.

It wouldn't be fair to beta testers who paid extra to have it shipped for those who didn't pay for shipping to get it.

We don't make the boxes, Strategy First does. But the CD does come in a DVD case and the package is pretty slick.

Nidaros' slick copy isn't even totally "real". We're actually manufacturing CD's, professionally screened, printed, etc. and these will be available directly from Stardock. Will include a PDF copy of the manual as well, but no printed manual.

No manual for pre-orders. Hmmmmmm....that sucks.
I really like the way Brad did the beta and was ECSTATIC
to pre-order and get to download the beta....one great idea....but I did sort of think I was buying the boxed version with my pre-order. To be honest, I can't remember if I pre-paid for shipping or not. I thought that's what I was buying. All that having been said, I would do it again but I guess I'd read it more carefully.

Well if I had it to do all over again, I would probably wait and get it in the store... I think it is a shame that the people who waited(and did not take a chance and support the game early) will get a better deal(the full retail boxed version) then the Beta testers!!! Oh well live and learn... I will know what to do next time.. (:( (:( (:( (:( (:( (:( (:( (:( (:(

Kuroth, buck up. you got a chance to *truly* shape the game to your liking. That's better than a boxed game.

Lol, who cares if its boxed or not? Come on now really, what do you do with your game boxes? And instruction guides?

I've got the instruction guides for my games sitting in a pile in box. After having the game for a day I don't think I've looked at them since. I actually prefer electronic instruction guides, its 10x easier to find things using a search function then to flip thru a silly book.

And the boxes? Pfffft, they get broken down and tossed in the recycling bin.

if ya want to complain about the game ALREADY, ya may want to back to the Moo boards; its slowing down there and they could use some more sh_t stirring............ :) :)

hey, if it really means that much, I'll donate MY box once I get it from EBX. Just let me know if ya want it and where to send it to. :) :)

Well, I was hoping for a dvd case, since those old fashion carton boxes are not very handy to keep your stuff in.

Only, how do you pay the shipping ?
