Screen resolution

I just switched over to a LCD monitor, and it really needs to run at 1280x1024 for things to look decent. So before I can download/buy the game, I would like to know first if the screen reolution can run at 1280x1024.

The resolution is fixed at 1024*768. If it scales ugly on LCD/TFT I can only recommend turning off scaling on the monitor. Or use the unsupported windowed version of GalCiv, which plays in a 1024*768 window.

Is it for sure fixed? I could swear the readme mentioned something about which resolutions were supported, and there were more than one.

Yea the Strategy First Readme is wrong. Of course, the Strategy First readme also talks about epileptic seizures too (I kid you not).
